A1-Engines has been rebuilding engines since 1976. What do we do? Well, we build quality replacement engines and cylinder heads. We use the most advanced machinery to ensure accurate clearance for proper specifications. The entire process is thoroughly inspected by our staff to maintain consistent quality. Some of the many processes in remanufacturing an engine include :
> Engine blocks magnafluxed, bored, precision honed and mains align-honed
> New pistons, piston rings, rod and main bearings
> Engine blocks and cylinder heads precision surfaced
> Cylinder heads pressure tested and machined for three-angle valve seats.
> Crankshafts stress-relieved, precision ground and micro-polished.
> Camshafts precision ground or replaced with new.
> Each engine tested for compression, oil pressure, oil leaks, engine noise
and general condition before shipment.
We also do flywheel refacing, drum & rotor refacing, journal welding and repair, king-pin resizing.
